Cengiz Varol

 

His field of activity as Senior Consultant at various global consulting companies (IBM subsidiary, PwC) ranged from classic SAP consulting in several international rollouts to the assumption of project/program management roles.

After working as a consultant, he moved to the line function at globally active companies, where he held positions as head of department in both IT and specialist areas. At first, as Logistics Competence Manager, he was able to demonstrate his experience in IT Operations, Service and Life-Cycle Management, as well as in Deployment. Subsequently, during his work at DPWN in various IT senior/management positions, he was in his last position at DHL, globally responsible for the specialist area (Process) Order to Cash.

This was followed by a switch back to consulting in the role of Associate Partner at one of the leading SAP retail consulting firms. After assuming the role as program manager of a global SAP Retail implementation in Istanbul, he took over the role as CIO at a market-leading retail company. 

Due to his IT and business background, his main focus in recent years has been on process optimization, strength/weakness analysis, development of (IT and business) strategies, as well as roadmap design and implementation (including managing multiple global IT programs, restructuring, process standardization/optimization, etc.).

In October 2017, he joined the RealCore Group as manager of the Hamburg office and, alongside Stefan Oltmanns, is responsible for the SAP Omnichannel division.
